You will need a passport to travel to Iceland. Your passport should be valid until at least April 2023 and it needs to have 2 full empty pages.
If you don’t have enough empty pages, please contact us and we will send you instructions for getting a new passport in time for the tour.
US and Canadian citizens are allowed to enter Iceland without a visa. Iceland is part of the Schengen Zone, a European zone consisting of 26 countries. US and Canadian citizens are allowed to spend 90 days out of any 180 day period in the Schengen Zone as a whole.
While travel restrictions and regulations are constantly changing around COVID-19, we are committed to ensuring the health and safety of our tour guests and will continue to closely watch and monitor the situation around travel to/from Iceland in the months leading up to the tour.

In order to participate in this tour, you will have to provide proof of travel/health insurance. Travel insurance provides peace of mind that, in case something happens, you don’t have to worry about paying for any health-related costs you may need or about being reimbursed for any travel expenses for of flight delays or trip cancelations due to unforeseen reasons. It will also cover your possessions in the event that they are misplaced during the trip.

The tour’s official arrival day is October 8th.
You will soon receive a travel arrangements form asking for your arrival details so that we can provide details about your airport transfer to our hotel.
The tour’s official departure day is October 16th and you can book a flight to depart from Reykjavik any time during that day.
