When most people land in this region, they have absolutely no idea what to expect. By the end of their stay, they don’t want to leave. This is the ultimate tour of Kyrgyzstan.

Everywhere you look in this region there seems to be the most beautiful alpine or the most mesmerizing snow-covered mountains, the most dramatic gorges and beckoning scenery. You’ll find yourself in the heart of the Silk Road, surrounded by the kindest people welcoming you into their homes, feeding you, teaching you about their culture. It’s a region where you will stay in traditional yurts, warm guesthouses and even with local families and you will partake in local activities everywhere you go.

Kyrgyzstan is a mysterious land that few travelers reach. But for those who do travel to this country, it quickly becomes one of their favorite destinations on the planet.

What other travelers say

I’ve never been on a group tour before, but I would definitely join one of your tours again. It was a perfect mix of city/town and nature, and Masha made it all the more special. She always knew what we needed and wanted. She was able to answer all our questions whether it was Kyrgyz culture, soviet history and everything in between. If you ever branch further into the Stans, Central Asia or the Middle East I will definitely be booking a place on a tour!

It was so much more than I expected. Although I usually travel alone, and I was not sure initially if I could fit into this kind of travel, I now know that that was the best way to go. Masha….she is a guide extraordinaire! Her encyclopedic knowledge and her fluency in the Russian language was particularly invaluable, plus her constant enthusiasm, sense of fun and boundless energy…just awe-inspiring!

Awesome! Good stays, cool driver, best guide, very "local" and not only sightseeing, overall a unique experience!
Reto V. (Switzerland)
It was an amazing trip! A dream come true to visit these places. It was so much fun and great to see some old friends and make some new ones. As usual Masha just makes everything a dream!  I must say that next time a laminated itinerary might be useful. I joke obviously! One of my favourite things about your tours besides the destinations and of course Masha, is the laid back, relaxed atmosphere and not feeling like we're being herded from place to place!

The tour was too wonderful for words. Every part of the tour was excellent. I enjoyed especially the unscheduled walks through local neighborhoods, peering into little shops, visiting the huge but organized markets, the desert yurt stay, the food in the local eateries and all the fun I had with my fellow travellers. We really had a blast. Thanks to Masha's unlimited energy and sense of fun. I came home revitalised, with a new understanding of Uzbekistan and awesome memories.

Masha was an amazing guide and a lot of fun. My favorites included the dinner at Masha’s friend’s home, the silk making and the pottery making. The hotels were great, too. Overall, loved it and so glad I went!

Masha Preslitskaya

Guide for: Kyrgyzstan, Iran

I was born in the USSR and for as long as I remember I wanted to travel to England. Imagine my surprise when in 2006 I found myself in Beijing at a tour leader training for an Australian travel company. Since then I’ve travelled and led tours all over Southeast, South, North and West Asian countries.

My passion is the Silk Road region with its history and diversity of cultures. I love old caravanserais, long drives through the countryside, history museums with 4,000 year old (and older) artifacts, and the great variety of food the region offers. My Kindle is full of history books, I always carry a can of Tiger Balm and I am one of those people who climbs every staircase for a better view and buys ice-cream at every station during a train ride. And with all my travels I actually haven’t made it to England yet!
