Tour Essentials

Physical Level: Moderate
While the tour itself is not very strenuous, please note that it can involve the following: somewhat long days, walking tours through uneven terrains for up to 2 hours at a time, optional light hikes through the countryside, being outside in potentially hot and cold temperatures, uphill walking at a couple of sights, drives up to 5 hours, early morning wake-ups and other similar scenarios.
On this tour, you will stay in different types of accommodation, including 3*/4* hotels, a 3* desert camp and an optional night in a cave inside Petra (an activity exclusively offered by Wandering Earl Tours). All rooms in the hotels have a private bathroom. There are a maximum of 8 single rooms available. These rooms will be offered on a first come-first served basis. The remainder of the rooms will be shared. Solo travelers will be paired together, two travelers per room in two single beds.
During the trip, we'll travel in comfort in a private minibus in order to ensure flexibility, plenty of space for each guest and access to areas that larger vehicles simply can't go. In the Wadi Rum desert we'll use 4WD jeeps, perfect for traversing the unique desert terrain.

As with all of our trips, we aim to offer as sustainable an experience as we can. We seek out ways to limit plastic use, trash is recycled where possible and we avoid mass tourism activities that cause harm to the environment and/or do not benefit local communities.
