Yes, this is a 100% surprise tour! You'll be given a city to meet in and the rest will be a complete surprise until the tour unfolds!
Are you ready for a surprise?
On this brand new Wandering Earl experience, you won’t know the trip itinerary until the tour actually begins! All you need to do is get to the starting point and we’ll take care of the rest.
As for details, all we can say is this about the trip:
This will not be a pure beach destination (I know that many don’t want a beach tour!), it won’t require any specific abilities and it’s open to everyone over the age of 18. All you need is an adventurous spirit as they say, a willingness to embark on a journey into the unknown and a strong desire for a super fun travel experience with like-minded people.
In order to make sure it’s not a destination you’ve already visited, we’ll be sending out a questionnaire to everyone who books. But I’ll say this – the chances are low you’ve had this experience before!
I know…it’s tough to commit to such a tour with so few details. Feel free to ask us anything you want but our answers might not have all the information you’re hoping for. This trip has been years in the making…and now it’s finally here!

To reserve your spot on a tour, a $500 deposit will be required. However, you can book with complete peace of mind as this deposit will be refundable – minus a 3% transaction fee – for 30 days. For our complete payment/refund policy, please READ HERE.
If you make a deposit for a tour within 90 days of the tour start date, the deposit is non-refundable.

Upon arrival in our meeting city (which you'll naturally be informed of well in advance), you'll be transferred to our hotel. Once everyone arrives, we'll have an orientation meeting and a group dinner so that we can all get to know each other better before the adventure begins!

It's one more day with the kind of travel experiences that make travel so addictive! You know what I mean? By now, you hopefully won't want the tour to finish, but alas...in the evening, we'll all prepare for one final group dinner together, in a location that can only be described as...a surprise!

Sadly, the surprise tour must come to an end. We'll all board our...flight or boat or train or spaceship...and return to our original meeting city. From here, you can connect to your onward flight home. Just to be safe, it's best to ensure your onward flight departs after 2pm!

Physical Level: Moderate
While this surprise tour itself is not very strenuous, please note that it can involve the following situations: somewhat long days, up to 2 hours of walking at a time, a variety of weather conditions (don't worry, not too cold!), a longish journey or two, early morning wake-ups and other similar scenarios.
Accomodation
On this tour, we'll stay in a variety of accommodations. For the most part, they'll all be 3* or 4*, with private bathrooms. However, some nights might be spent in very basic accommodation with shared bathrooms. There are a maximum of 8 single rooms available. These rooms will be offered on a first come-first served basis. The remainder of the rooms will be shared. Solo travelers will be paired together, two travelers per room in two single beds.
Transport
During the trip, we'll travel around using a variety of transportation methods. Of course, they'll all be (relatively) comfortable! There won't be anything crazy such as jumping on cargo trains or hitchhiking, so there's nothing to worry about on that front, but transport may involve flights, trains, boats, hot air balloons, cars, vans or perhaps something else!
Meals
The food will be excellent! You'll get breakfast every day, 7 lunches and 8 dinners included. With these included meals, we'll eat in a variety of ways - from family style, to ordering off of menus to complete surprises! All dietary restrictions can be accommodated although it might result in a limited menu.
Sustainability
As with all of our trips, we aim to offer as sustainable an experience as we can. We seek out ways to limit plastic use, trash is recycled where possible and we avoid mass tourism activities that cause harm to the environment and/or do not benefit local communities.
Small Groups
This tour requires a minimum of 10 participants and has a maximum of 13 participants in order to ensure the best small group SURPRISE tour experience. With such a small group, this trip will be truly special as we can participate in all kinds of activities that would not be possible with more people. This is the style we love and we're sticking to it!
